Terms of Reference
The group will support the OFFLU mandate by:
- Creating a working group of core members who are able and willing to represent the regions in which they work or have experience and a wider list of experts who could support specific activities as required;
- Creating and sharing socioeconomic references relevant to OFFLU’s work;
- Facilitate the understanding of social and economic drivers and impacts of influenza viruses in animals and their differential impacts on differing members within communities, households and commercial enterprises relevant to OFFLU activities;
- Develop templates to enable countries and enterprises to obtain a sound estimate of the resources and costs involved in the prevention and control of animal influenza;
